After viewing Mikes Schuh’s 2007 pedestrian project “There’s Nothing to See Here” I decided to go in a different direction and give the viewer something to look at. My piece is called Future Hole. Future Hole is a series of short videos comprised of animated shapes viewed through a small hole in the storefront glass. Each video has a soundtrack that plays from a speaker over the doorway.
When the viewer looks into the Future Hole he or she will glimpse a microscopic future of an undetermined place and time.
